The Ranger 20 is a traditionally styled displacement launch powered by a very economical diesel engine. You will find many examples of this type of boat around our coasts, often used by Fishermen because of their sea keeping ability and versatility.
The Ranger 20 encompasses all the physical qualities of these traditional craft, however it is built using modern materials for low maintenance and its’ simulated clinker hull gives it a grace and presence on the water.
The deep internal freeboard gives you the feel and confidence of a much larger boat and makes the Ranger 20 ideal for fishing and cruising in rivers and estuaries or for short trips around our coasts.
These boats are built individually so you can choose one of our standard layouts or we can customise to suit your requirements. Engines ranging from 15 - 28hp can be fitted which allows you to choose the most economical solution for your needs. Hull and deck mouldings are also available separately for boatyard or home completion.
The stern gear on the Ranger 20 is well protected which means that the boat can be kept on a drying out or mud berth, making it particularly suitable for tidal moorings.
